What this covers
This notice describes what is visible in the current Underdogs studio website and the separate browser game at /play/. The studio homepage provides information about Underdogs projects; it has no account, payment, newsletter or contact-form feature in the current code.
This notice does not describe services that are not present. In particular, the studio pages do not include an analytics script, advertising technology, marketing storage or a subscription service.
02 / Information handled
Information handled by the site and game
- Studio-page requests. Visiting the static studio pages does not ask for a name, email address or account information. Like most websites, delivering a page can involve technical request information handled by the hosting and network services.
- Local game data. The browser game keeps gameplay state, manual saves, preferences and Messenger conversation state in the browser’s local storage so a game can continue on the same device.
- Messenger requests. When a player uses the game’s live Messenger feature, the game sends a request to its configured Supabase Edge Function to generate a reply. The project’s code does not document that service’s server-side retention or logging settings.
- External links. The website links to Daily Games and may link to other third-party websites. Those destinations operate under their own policies.

How the current features use information
- To deliver the studio website and operate or secure the technical services that make it available.
- To restore locally saved game progress, settings and player-authored Messenger history on the same browser.
- To provide a live response when the game’s Messenger feature is used.
Important: the repository does not identify the legal entity responsible for Underdogs, its lawful bases for processing, the hosting provider or a privacy contact. Those details must be confirmed before this notice can serve as a complete privacy policy.

Verified external service
Supabase Edge Function
The browser game is configured to make live Messenger requests to a Supabase Edge Function. This is separate from the game’s local save system. The source does not identify the service’s data location, retention, subprocessors or transfer safeguards, so those details are intentionally not guessed here.
Linked websites
Daily Games and any other external website opened from Underdogs are governed by their own terms and privacy information. Opening an external link means its operator may handle information under its own policies.
05 / Your device
Browser storage and gameplay saves
The studio homepage does not use script-managed browser storage. The browser game uses localStorage for essential, device-local game functionality. The current game code does not use document.cookie or sessionStorage.
Clearing Underdogs site data in your browser can remove active progress, manual save slots, settings and locally stored Messenger history. It does not itself establish what a third-party service may retain after a Messenger request. See Cookies and storage for the verified storage keys.
06 / Retention and security
Retention, security and technical logs
Local game data remains in the browser until it is overwritten, deleted in the game where that option exists, or cleared through browser site-data controls. The project does not define a server-side retention schedule for hosting logs or live Messenger requests.
Local browser storage is controlled by the browser and device you use. The current repository does not contain enough information to make a broader security or hosting-security claim. The owner must confirm the hosting arrangement, retention periods and applicable safeguards.
07 / Rights and children
Your rights and young players
Privacy rights depend on the law that applies to you and on the identity of the service operator. If UK data-protection law applies, people may have rights to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability, and to complain to the ICO. A verified contact route is needed to exercise any such rights.
The current code does not include an age gate or parental-consent flow. The owner must confirm the intended audience and complete any required children’s privacy information before relying on this notice.

The current project does not provide a controller or operator name, contact method, postal address, hosting provider, server-side retention period, lawful basis, governing jurisdiction or confirmed international-transfer safeguards. These facts have not been invented. The owner should add them, together with an update process, before publishing this as a complete legal notice.
